Best haunting of Halloween

1. Free to enter

No purchase is necessary to enter or to win. Entering never costs coins or money, and buying coins or a plan does not improve anyone's chances.

You enter with a haunting you made on Trivana. Making a haunting is free: the first haunting of each day costs nothing, and that is all an entry needs.

2. Sponsor

The contest is run by Rerato, Inc., 815 Superior Ave East, Suite 1618, PMB 228, Cleveland, OH 44114, USA ("we"). Trivana is our product.

3. Who can enter, and who can win

Anyone with a Trivana account can enter. Trivana accounts are for people 13 and older.

To receive a prize you must be 18 or older, have a confirmed email, and confirm prize eligibility on Trivana: that you are 18 or older and that this is your only Trivana account. One prize-eligible account per person.

Before any prize of 1,000 coins or more is paid, we check the winner, including by phone. A winner we cannot verify within 14 days of contacting them, or who gave false details, does not receive the prize, and it goes to the next eligible entry.

Our employees, contractors and their households may enter for fun but cannot win.

The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. You are responsible for knowing whether you may take part where you live.

4. Dates

Entries open 19 October, 16:00 UTC and close 1 November, 08:00 UTC.

Voting closes 3 November, 08:00 UTC. The board is final at that moment. Our clock decides every time.

5. How to enter

Make your haunting, put it on the community wall, and enter it from the contest page.

Free to enter. One haunting per person. It must be your own, about you, and on the wall.

Spooky, never gory. Anything that breaks the wall's rules is removed and cannot win.

Entries must follow the community wall's rules. Anything copied, hateful, sexual, gory, or about someone other than you is removed and cannot win.

6. How winners are decided

This is a contest of skill and merit, decided by votes, not by chance. There is no drawing.

Anyone signed in to a free Trivana account can vote: three votes per account per contest, one per entry, and never for your own entry.

When voting closes, entries are ranked by votes. A tie goes to the entry more different people played, then to the entry that went on the wall first. The top 3 entries with at least one vote win, in that order.

Before prizes are paid we check the top entries and their votes. Entries or votes that break these rules, come from duplicate or automated accounts, or were bought or traded are removed, and the next entry moves up.

7. Prizes

first place: 5,000 coins. second place: 5,000 coins. third place: 5,000 coins. 15,000 coins in all, reserved before the contest opens.

Prizes are Trivana coins only. Coins have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, sold or transferred, and are spent on Trivana like any other coin. Earned coins, prizes included, expire 90 days after they are paid, as the Terms say.

One prize per person. We pay prizes to the winner's Trivana account after the checks in sections 3 and 6, usually within 7 days of the close. No substitute or cash alternative.

8. General

By entering you agree to these rules and to Trivana's Terms. You keep ownership of your haunting; you let us show it on Trivana and in posts about the contest, with your display name.

We may cancel, pause or change the contest if something outside our control, a fault, or fraud affects it. If we do, we say so on the contest page, and prizes already won are honoured.

Winners' display names are shown on the contest page when it closes. To ask about the contest, write to Rerato, Inc., 815 Superior Ave East, Suite 1618, PMB 228, Cleveland, OH 44114, USA.

We use the details you give us only to run the contest and pay prizes, as our Privacy Policy describes.
