Trivana for AI platforms

Create playable Trivana trivia games from Claude and MCP clients.

Trivana exposes a standard remote MCP endpoint that creates one hosted, AI-hosted trivia game from a topic, document summary, URL summary, classroom activity, team icebreaker, workshop energizer, or party idea. The connector returns a clean playable link that opens on trivana.ai.

Endpoint

https://trivana.ai/api/mcp

Tool

create_trivana_game

Returned link

https://trivana.ai/play/{slug}

Default visibility

Unlisted, shareable by link

How it behaves

One narrow write tool, clean user links, native permission prompts.

The connector creates a new Trivana game, so Claude and other clients should show their normal approval prompt before execution. Created games are unlisted by default and can be opened by anyone with the link.

No authentication is required for reviewer testing.

Supported game lengths are 3 or 5 questions; 5 is the default.

The visible play link does not include UTM parameters.

Attribution is recorded server-side as source=trivana_mcp.

The connector does not read Claude chats, memories, user files, or account data.

Claude setup

Add Trivana as a custom connector.

  1. 1Open Claude settings and add a custom connector.
  2. 2Use https://trivana.ai/api/mcp as the remote MCP server URL.
  3. 3Ask Claude to generate a playable quiz or trivia game. Approve the tool call when Claude asks.
  4. 4Open the returned trivana.ai/play link and share it with players.
