- EdApp was retired on March 31, 2026, as SafetyCulture consolidated its products into one platform. Training continues inside SafetyCulture under the SC Training name.
- The window to migrate courses into SafetyCulture has closed, and account access for data export ended in April 2026 per EdApp's notice — for current account questions, SafetyCulture support is the authority.
- The successor platform combines training with inspections, issue management, and reporting — and EdApp's gamification features (prizing and stars) were discontinued.

Is EdApp shutting down?
It already has. EdApp was retired on March 31, 2026, according to EdApp's own retirement notice, with its training features continuing inside SafetyCulture (as SC Training). Course-migration requests closed, and the data-export window ended in April 2026.
Is SC Training the same as EdApp?
SC Training is the continuation of EdApp inside the SafetyCulture platform — same lineage, different shape. Training now lives alongside inspections and operations tooling, and some EdApp features, notably the prizing and stars gamification, were discontinued.
Can I still export my EdApp courses and records?
Per EdApp's retirement notice, account access for data export ended in April 2026. If you still need historical records, contact SafetyCulture support directly — they are the authority on what remains recoverable for your account.
What is the fastest replacement for post-workshop use?
