For bars & taprooms

Trivia night without hiring a host

Your bar picks the night. A prepared AI host reads the questions, reacts to the room, and keeps the big-screen show moving. Patrons join by QR code with no app or signup; staff can pause or adjust the pace when needed.

Your topic, Diego's show — in seconds

Type any theme: sports, decades, local lore. Diego turns it into a voiced pub quiz in seconds.

Free games are 5 questions with a voiced host. No account needed to generate or play — you review it before sharing the link.

Sound familiar?

  • Weeknights are dead, but a professional trivia host can run hundreds of dollars a night before the first pint pours.
  • Question-packet services still put your bartender on a mic, reading questions between pours.
  • One-off events spike a night, then fade. Regulars come back for rituals, not stunts.
  • Nobody behind the bar has time to write questions, wrangle scoresheets, and emcee for two hours.

What you walk away with

  • +A weekly trivia night that runs itself after setup: patrons scan a QR code and a prepared AI host takes it from there.
  • +Autopilot handles the repeated speaking and pacing; staff keep pause, timing, skip, and audio controls within reach.
  • +Creator Pro + Smart Host is $29/mo with monthly credits. Live Autopilot shows an exact one-time preparation quote before charging, and prepared replays use no credits.
  • +Fresh themes every week: sports, decades, local history, generated in seconds.

Steal this run-of-show

How organizers run it

Step 1

Pick your night and theme

Claim your slowest weeknight and make it yours. A mix of general knowledge and local flavor gives everyone at the bar a shot at glory.

  • +Tuesday and Wednesday are classic dead nights worth owning
  • +Mix crowd-pleaser questions with a hometown round

Step 2

Put the QR where the pints are

Print table tents with the game's QR code. Patrons scan, the host greets them, and the first question rolls. No signup, no app.

  • +One link runs the whole night
  • +Players join the same synchronized room from any phone browser
  • +A TV or projector carries the shared Host Live show

Step 3

Let Live Autopilot run the show

The selected host reads each question and choice, reacts to the room, explains the answer, and advances the show. Staff step in only when the room needs a pause or pacing change.

  • +Rounds are short, so play fits between orders
  • +Pause, add time, reveal, skip, and audio controls stay on the host screen

Step 4

Crown a champion, tease next week

Close the night with a winner and a reason to return. Small prize, big ceremony, and next week's theme announced before last call.

  • +Players show their score screen at the bar to claim a prize
  • +Announce next week's theme before close
  • +Same night, same time, every week builds the ritual

Questions people ask

How do patrons actually play?

They scan a QR code or enter the room code and the game opens in their phone browser. No app and no player account. The big screen carries the question and host narration while each phone becomes an answer pad; scoring and leaderboards update automatically.

Do we need any hardware?

For Host Live, use any laptop connected to a TV or projector plus the guests' phones. Nothing specialized is required. If you do not have a shared screen, the same pack can still be played in self-paced Show or Quiz mode, but that is a different experience from the synchronized trivia night.

Can we try it before committing?

Yes. Try the published 15-question demo first, or use the free plan to generate a short standard voiced game with no card required. Creator Pro + Smart Host is $29/mo with 25 monthly credits. Preparing full Live Autopilot narration has a separate exact credit quote shown before you approve it; once prepared, re-hosting that pack uses no credits.

Can we theme different nights?

Any topic you can name: sports, decades, movies, local history, brewery lore. Games generate in seconds, so a '90s night this week and a soccer showdown next week is no extra work. You can review every question before doors open, which we recommend for anything niche.

Who hosts the game?

Jasper, our energetic crowd-pleaser, hosts this page's demo. Seven other personalities are available—including Diego's competitive energy and Luna's calmer style—so the voice can match the room. You can also choose the supported host language before preparing Live Autopilot.
